Like losing a limb

Being the data I/C without the computer is really like losing a limb.

But no choice lah... YY had to go for a checkup and had to bring his 11-B (identification card) along... so today, I was basically doing filing and photocopying... after doing it for hours yesterday and today, I can say now that photocopying is the only aspect of my work that I've become truly specialised in.

Today was also the day the seniors decided to train me in phone etiquette... Joe (yes, the one who was my classmate in JC), who is currently a clerk in OETI, called me and pretended to be some captain just for the fun of it.

And I was so nervous, I called a private "Sir". OK... I know that a private is higher in rank than me, but...

Well I want to dedicate a song to my friends who are NOT clerks, especially those guys in SISPEC (School of Infantry Specialists), like Kelvin, and all the other infantry soldiers. Those who went through proper BMT should know which tune to sing to.

Eh ah oh ah CPC ah

P.S. Control of Personnel Centre, People Matters Centre is the unit I'm working in. Admin Support Assistant is just our official term for clerk.
